![]() Pernell and Donna Green live in a small apartment rented from the Benson Housing Authority. They are reliable tenants with good work ethics. The Greens raise their 9 year old grandson Syncere, and they are dedicated members of Coats Church of God of Prophecy. Homeownership has been a long desire for Pernell and Donna Green. In March the foundation for their new 3 bedroom/two bath home was assembled. The Green family is currently working to earn the 300 hours of Sweat Equity required by a two-parent family. Pernell, Donna, and Syncere have all worked at the Clayton ReStore. On Saturdays you can find Pernell and Donna working with the Construction Committee getting the foundation and flooring completed for the May 15th Wall Raising. The Greens will also earn Sweat Equity hours by attending homeowner workshops (budgeting, home maintenance, purchasing insurance, etc). Habitat for Humanity of Johnston County welcomes volunteers on the site. Sign up to volunteer or donate to help make this project a success! We hope to see you on the job site soon.
