Johnston County Habitat for Humanity located in Johnston County, North Carolina

Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. HFHI seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.Johnston County Habitat for Humanity promotes home ownership with volunteers building houses in partnership with Johnston County residents in need of adequate housing.

The Fred Smith Foundation Charity Challenge builds a house for Habitat for Humanity of Johnston County. The proceeds from the sale of the house will enable Habitat to build two more houses. Guided by the commitment to be a “Good Corporate Citizen” the Fred Smith Company started the Charity Challenge in 2001. Since its inception, it has built 4 houses for HFHJC.
